My Weekend

Over the weekend I went to Boonah Quilt Show to help a friend out. While I was there I did do some shopping. I brought those 2 bag patterns. Don't ask when I'll get them made. Had a lovely weekend helping Cath out. Met alot of new people and saw a few people that I knew. The quilts that were on display looked good too.
While I was at the show I did do some of my Raggady Club stitcheries. I'm nearly finished them. Thank goodness. I have been really enjoying doing the stitcheries. I did buy some Cat stitcheries on the weekend. Will put them on later on. Also I did get some fabrics from Cath. Will also put them up later on and tell you what I'll be making with them. Well better go for now.

Putting Quilting Frame Together.

Here is Cath and Marg putting the fabric onto the rods for my quilting frame. Before lunch the men were outside in the garage putting up the frame. Forgot to take photos. They all done a great job putting it together. Now just have to use it. That is the next lesson when Marg comes over. We have been in our house since early November and I'm just getting inot my sewing room. I have boxes everywhere. I haven't sewn in a long time. I have been doing some knitting and stitcheries. But I would like to make some more dolls and get into making some bags.

Here is hubby (Denis) making a bowl. He wanted to try out his big lathe. He really loves getting down into his shed. The bowl turned into a cheese platter. Looks good. Will take a photo later on and put it up.

I was just trying to add photos to my blog. These dolls I made awhile back from a pattern that a very good friend designed. Her name is Cath Walker. I love Cath's designs. And I have made a few of her dolls. Here's hoping.
